Its understood the Welsh club are aiming to sign an attacking midfielder before tomorrows transfer deadline.

Conor Coady has left Wrexham following the mutual termination of his contract. 

Wrexham added in a statement: "We wish Conor all the best for the future."

Newcastle closing in on deal to sign Fernandez-Pardo

Newcastle are set pay Lille in the region of 55m for the Belgian international. 

Final details are being discussed, but there is hope and belief Newcastle have got their man. 

Fernandez-Pardo is set to travel to Newcastle tonight to finalise the move. 

Newcastle see the signing of forward Fernandez-Pardo as on par with that of Nico Gonzalez. 

His arrival will allow Nick Woltemade to leave on loan, with Juventus in direct talks with Newcastle over the German striker. 

Preston make bid for Fulham striker Kusi-Asare

Preston North End have made a bid for Fulham striker Jonah Kusi-Asare.

Its understood the clubs are in discussions over a season-long loan deal for the Sweden U21 international.

Kusi-Asare, 19, joined Fulham from Bayern Munich last summer.

He has five years left on his contract, with the Premier League club holding the option of extending by a further year.

Spurs could target Chelsea's Tosin if Danso leaves

Tottenham would be keen to sign Tosin from Chelsea if Kevin Danso leaves the club before the deadline.

Roberto De Zerbi revealed on Saturday that Danso is one of three Spurs players who have asked to leave the club amid talks with Sunderland.

Spurs are making contingency plans and Your Site News understands De Zerbi's choice for a new centre-back would be Tosin.

De Zerbi is believed to have tracked him for some time and wanted to sign him while manager at Brighton and Marseille.

De Zerbi recently spoke about changing the mentality at Spurs, and Tosin is a Club World Cup and Conference League winner with Chelsea.

He also captained the side several times and was credited for his vocal leadership in the dressing room.

Although the clubs have rarely done business, Chelsea will listen to offers for Tosin after signing Maxence Lacroix as a new centre-back.

Could Gakpo leave Liverpool?

Barcola: I signed five-year deal to help win PL and be a long-term player

Bradley Barcola says he signed a five-year deal with Liverpool to help the club win the Premier League and be a long-term player in the squad.

The winger's 123m move from PSG was confirmed on Monday after the Reds' long-term interest this summer.

The 23-year-old told Liverpoolfc.com: "It's a great pride to be able to play for Liverpool. I'm very happy.

"It took a long time but I'm really happy today to be able to play for Liverpool and all I want is to be on the pitch and be able to play.

"I hope to achieve very big things. First of all, winning the Premier League it's one of my biggest dreams in my life.

"It is to do that and to stay in this team in the long term that's why I signed a long contract and I hope I can do it."
