Wolves came from behind to beat Stoke 4-1 and continue their unbeaten start in the Sky Bet Championship.
Sam Gallagher's stunning second-minute goal gave Stoke the perfect start at Molineux but two goals in three minutes from Rodrigo Gomes turned the game on its head before half-time.
Raul Jimenez's penalty made it 3-1 after 55 minutes before substitute Jordan James scored on his home debut with six minutes remaining.
Mateus Mane also went close for Wolves in a convincing performance from Cesar Peixoto's side, who went top following the lunchtime fixtures.
Gallagher shocked Wolves with a superb goal for the visitors. The forward held off Marshall Munetsi before curling a tremendous shot into the top corner from 25 yards, giving goalkeeper Jose Sa no chance.
It was the 30-year-old's first goal since March and came about from a sloppy square pass by Wolves attacker Fer Lopez.
Gallagher went close to making it 2-0 when his shot was blocked by Sa after an early pass from Bae Jun-ho. Sorba Thomas should have buried the rebound only to fire wide.
After surviving that scare, Wolves equalised in the 20th minute from their first serious chance and then took the lead three minutes later - both goals coming from Gomes, and both rebounds.
The Portuguese attacker was ideally placed to stab home after goalkeeper Viktor Johansson parried Jimenez's side-footed effort after a heavy touch by Eric Bocat.
Mane did brilliantly for Wolves' second goal. The 18-year-old beat Ben Johnson and Gallagher before holding off Bosun Lawal and his cross was parried by Johansson before Gomes fired high into the unguarded net.
Wolves had a couple of opportunities to break following the restart but found their way halted by some resolute Stoke defending.
Jimenez had a shot blocked but he won a penalty when he was impeded by Johnson at the far post challenging for Hugo Bueno's corner.
The Mexican needed no second invitation from the spot, firing home his second goal of the season as he coolly sent Johansson the wrong way.
Mane was denied a fourth when his curling shot was tipped wide by Johansson, who smothered an angled drive from the same player.
Very little had been seen of Stoke's attack in the second half but Bocat screwed wide with a tame effort late on.
James, who replaced Gomes in the 77th minute, started and finished the move for Wolves' fourth.
The Wales international swept home Lopez's square pass from the right from 12 yards inside Johansson's left-hand post. James' crossfield pass had released Lopez out wide to start the move.
Substitute Tawanda Chirewa's curling effort was deflected over as Wolves looked for a fifth goal.
Wolves' Cesar Peixoto:
"We conceded a goal but the reaction was very important for us. We showed personality and character to fight and after that, we scored four goals and could have scored more.
"We played well and were organised in terms of defensive organisation, and with offensive organisation we could have scored more.
"I talked to the players before the game to have the right shape and the right body language to bring our supporters to support us.
"We did that. The players showed character, personality and quality when we had the ball - they found the right spaces and we defended well, not conceding a lot of chances."
Stoke's Mark Robins:
"We scored a brilliant goal then contrived to shoot ourselves in the foot. We started really well and scored a 'worldie' and got our noses in front.
"We then had some really decent play, from the goalkeeper's close kick all the way to Gallagher, who won a header and we got runners off him into the box.
"We started to gather momentum but then we decided to do something different.
"Instead of doing those things that got us success, we played it to Eric Bocat, who tried to take on a man and lost the ball in a really dangerous area and they had the weight of numbers to score.
"That changed the whole momentum because we gave them a second one and they hadn't had to work for it.
"We've been the authors of our own downfall for the second week running."
